The past week or so, I’ve been feeling a little more adventurous when it comes to cooking. And by that I mean, I started to cook. It’s not that I’ve never cooked, but I don’t do it as often as I should, or even want to. It comes to down to me not knowing how to cook and up until very recently have been somewhat terrified of the process. However, one of the goals on my 30 before 30 list is to learn to cook at least 15 meals without recipes. And I’ve started working on that goal. On tonight’s menu – French Onion soup. Oh yes. I used this recipe but tweaked it to be vegetarian.
It took longer than the time the recipe said, but it was still worth it. And it was really easy to make too!
Great post. I enjoyed reading your blog today.

Haha. I love cooking. I don’t really “know” how to do it, but following recipes is simple enough. And your photos look great! love it.
This looks delicious and super easy to make! I am going to have to try it… I think it’d be great one a cold night! It’s been unusually warm in VA lately, but as soon as the temps drop again, I’m going for it!
I loooove french onion soup!
Looks good! French onion soup was somethign that sounded so hard to me, but once I did it, it’s now one of my favorite homemade dishes! 🙂
The pics look great! I’ll have to try this one out.
Yum! Those cheesy crouton things look unbelievably good!
Very cute in the mugs! Congrats on making a delicious meal! 🙂
